French start-ups raised 335 million euros in September 2018

The young shoots of France have raised 334.54 million euros through fundraising in September, through 71 rounds. An increase compared to the same period last year (290 million euros raised in September 2017). This month, it was the e-HR sector that saw the greatest interest from investors, with 102.95 million euros raised. Next, IoT (40.5 million euros), rarely among the best performing sectors, but which records several large-scale surveys in September, then the adtech / martech / publishers (32.24 million), heels by the fintech (30.8 million).

The best performance of September goes to Evaneos. This online travel agency offering tailor-made travel raised 70 million euros from Partech, Level Equity, Quadrille Capital, XAnge, Serena Capital and Bpifrance. The following rounds are well below. Second, Kayrros and its data analysis solution for the energy market (21 million euros raised), followed by fintech Qonto. Only a year after its official launch, it has raised 20 million euros to develop its neobank offer for businesses and independents. The biggest fundraiser ever recorded by a French neobanque.
